Description of the Project

FIFA are conducting a global exercise to collect information on Talent Promotion. This exercise will include 100+ Member Associations (MAs) and be sourced through a combination of interviews / surveys during 2020. A team of experienced Analysts will conduct the Interviews, coordinate the survey process and compile reports for ongoing analysis.

The Role

The Federation are now seeking to appoint a team of Junior Analysts on a freelance basis for nine-month period between January 2020 to September 2020. The time commitment over that period will be around 50 travel days and approximately the same days for preparation and follow-up, which can be designed flexibly. The Junior Analyst will support a Chief Analyst across administrative and technical aspects of the project.

This will involve significant planning and coordination with stakeholders and the organisation of a number of in-country visits.

The appointment will be made on a freelance basis with a daily amount being made available, as well as all directly related expenses being met.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain consistent communication with identified Member Associations on all aspects of the project and in-country visits
  • Ensure that all relevant data is accurately captured and safely stored in associated database
  • Administrative and logistical preparation of all in-country visits between the FIFA Analyst team and the senior leadership of the Member Association
  • Contribute to the collection, analysis and reporting of project-related information

Experience

  • Experience of working in a Talent Promotion environment or in an administrative capacity in the sport sector
  • Experience of working with high volumes of technical information, including the entry and storage of data
  • Experience of providing consistent communication and updates with senior-level stakeholders
  • Track record of producing and presenting high-quality written reports
  • Experience as a player or coach in a Talent Promotion environment would be an advantage

Skills

  • Ability to manage complex projects
  • Good organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong administration and data management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English and one of the following languages is required:
    • French
    • Spanish
    • Russian
    • Arabic
