Sales Manager – stichd

The Job:

The Sales Manager leads and coaches the Account Managers to exceed budgeted sales and gross margin by month, quarter and asset, coupled with building relationships and pro-actively exploring new commercial opportunities that add value to the brands stichd represents.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the development of Retail & Distribution channels plans for Europe, Middle East and North America;
  • Introduction of new accounts with a specific focus on ‘Main stream’ Businesses;
  • Mentor and motivate account managers (2) and identify training and development needs;
  • Identifying market opportunities;
  • Go To Market & Sales Launch responsibility coordinating involved functions, sales tools and documentation;
  • Liaise with the production team on all stock ordering requirements by asset;
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure that all orders from the division are managed from order placement through to dispatch;
  • Networking in order to generate new business for the company;
  • Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances;
  • Evaluate, manage and control distribution quality.

The Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Record;
  • Strong Retail Network and key account exposure;
  • Sales and margin focused;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Excellent understanding of sales agreements and financials;
  • Passionate self-starter and team player;
  • Pro-active, with excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Clear and accurate reporting to Head of Sales;
  • Confident, personable, and ‘hands on’ with an ability to build relationships quickly;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Our warehousing and distribution facilities are located in The Netherlands (Tilburg) and Mexico City. In total we have approximately 500 people working in our organization.
