The Role

To lead product strategy and define the future of the FootJoy portfolio across the EMEA region. Accountable for an immediate team of two product managers with portfolios across Shoes, Gloves, Apparel & Accessories. A strategically important role within the business to manage the current successful portfolio whilst shaping and delivering what the future product architecture looks like. Maintaining and growing its market leader position with the same innovative drive in which the business has thrived, identifying gaps and untapped market opportunities with a first and best-to-market mind-set.

Key Responsibilities




Work closely with the EMG and Regional Brand Managers, including travel within each region, to identify trends and opportunities and provide leadership and direction for the development, management and profitability of the EMEA product range.


Achieve, through collaboration with the FJ EMEA Brand, Sales and DTC teams, growth in profitability and market shares as per brand objectives for the FJ product range while considering the managing pricing and currency dynamics.


Work alongside US Product Management, FJ Global design and development teams to deliver on product objectives. Includes necessary travel to US headquarters and sales and strategy meetings.


Provide leadership to the EMEA Product Managers Shoes/Gloves and Apparel/Accessories, conveying strategic direction and driving FJ Brand and profitability directives.


Strategically lead the EMEA Product Management team as they work with EMEA Sales and Inventory Management in the planning and forecasting process of the FJ EMEA product range.


Within EMEA, coordinate and participate in FJ product presentations at Sales Meetings, Key Account, Marketing and Media presentations.


Manage the provision of and strategically communicate FJ EMEA Market

Statistics for Business and Planning purposes.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Education to degree standard

    • Relevant experience working in the golf industry or adjacent industries, including fashion, apparel and sporting brands. Must be knowledgeable in the areas of product management and marketing. Must display good leadership skills and have a good understanding of product user expectations and an understanding of the FJ brand positioning. Written, verbal and presentation excellence are essential.
    • Great analytical skills and ability to use data and consumer insights to identify and qualify meaningful product opportunities, gaps and issues.
    • Financially savvy and capable of identifying P&L, margin, pricing opportunities and actions.
  • Personal:
