The ATC are looking for an energetic and innovative Social Media Manager to develop and lead ATC’s world class social media strategy and bring our iconic story to life. The successful individual must be able to manage a project from idea to execution, producing and posting, to deliver high-quality social media content on time and to specification. The role will report to the Senior Digital Manager. 

Key objectives of the role include: 

  • Lead the ATC’s social media strategy and planning as the social media expert for the organisation. 
  • Own and drive user engagement on ATC’s social media channels.  
  • Plan, produce, post and report on all ATC social media activity. 
  • Create an engaged audience of current and prospective racegoers by maintaining, monitoring, moderating, and measuring ATC’s social media community activity. 
  • Work closely and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business including Partnerships, Hospitality Sales, Membership and Racing to understand and support their objectives. 
  • Engage both existing and potential racegoers by producing compelling video, imagery and graphics that showcase all aspects of the race day experience across racing, fashion, food and entertainment. 
  • Support advertising and the media plan roll-out across social media channels 
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required. 


To be successful in the role, the right fit will possess: 

  • Minimum four years’ experience in a social media management role. Experience in producing content in sports, entertainment, lifestyle, travel, fashion experience.  
  • An excellent knowledge of social media content and platforms across sports and lifestyle. Up-to-date with latest trends and developments. 
  • Experience of owning, producing, growing social media channels, including content creation, content planning, community management, reporting and analysis. 
  • Strong understanding of social media data and analytics to drive outcomes. 
  • Excellent social media video editing skills. 
  • Strong editorial sensibility – able to identify strong content that will perform well on digital/social platforms. 
  • A creative opportunist up for trying new ideas and an ability to capture fun, engaging content. 
  • Effective content planning, reporting and time management skills. 
  • Outstanding verbal and interpersonal skills. Strong written communication skills and attention to detail. 
  • Specific channel expertise including YouTube channel management and optimisation. 
  • Experience in creating commercial and partner content to drive mutual outcomes and the role of social media in supporting commercial outcomes 
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, social media or digital content production 
  • An excellent knowledge of social media content channels, including content creation, content planning
